Wish I'd Bought This Years Ago! Reviews Day-Light Sky 10,000 LUX Bright Light Therapy Lamp DL2000

This Day-Light brand is recommended by the Center of Environmental Therapeutics and they seem to be legit. They have a site if you wanna check it out. As for the effectiveness of the Day-Light Sky 10,000 LUX Brightlight, I love it! It arrived on our first cold, gloomy day of the winter season. Just in time to try it out. After the first couple of days I could tell this was going to be a good product for my "winter blues".

Day-Light Sky 10,000 LUX Bright Light Therapy Lamp DL2000 made me feel like my eyes were really open all day and I felt much more energetic. I just pray the feeling lasts throughout the winter.This lamp does not look like a medical instrument or scream "I'm a light box!". The lamp looks and feels very solid, not cheap at all. The base has a weighted area that makes it very stable and the fit and finish is first rate.

The head and arm can lock into many different angles which adds to the everyday usability of the lamp. There is large chrome push button on the side of the arm and the head which you push for movement, when you let go it is locked into place.

The buttons are a practical size and my arthritic hands have no problem. There is a toggle switch at the front of the upright base which lets you chose the therapeutic light level or the task light strength. The task light is terrific! I am using it right now and love the even clean white light it gives. There is no glare, no harshness and no flicker.

At this point, white light lamps are more mainstream and more often recommended by doctors, so I just decided to be safe and go with this one. It would be nice if the pricing for this Day-Light Sky 10,000 LUX Bright Light lamp was a little less, but I guess it's a specialty item, so not as many are sold as a ordinary lamp. In conclusion, I would recommend this to anyone with symptoms of SAD.
